Refund Policy

At Onyx & Ice Entertainment, we prioritize transparency and clarity in our refund policy. This policy serves as a general guideline for bookings, ensuring that our clients understand terms of their agreements. Please note that special requests or unique circumstances can be incorporated into any contract, pending mutual approval. Ultimately the signed agreement will be the definitive document governing any refund arrangements.

Refund Policy - the basics

At Onyx & Ice, our general refund policy is as follows:

- All deposits are non-refundable. Exceptions to this policy apply in case of full event cancellations due to natural disasters, pandemics, acts of war, national security threats, or acts of God that prevent the scheduled event to take place and are beyond the control of the hiring party. Cancellation on the part of Onyx & Ice due to unforeseen circumstances causing the inability to provide service. However, Onyx & Ice will arrange for back up service when possible with a partial refund issued.

- A Deposit Credit will be issued for cancellations not within 30 days of scheduled events, that are due to venue change, date change, or unforeseen circumstances of hiring party to use for a new booking with Onyx & Ice Entertainment for future dates.

- Cancellation Refunds of Contracts that are paid in full: If a cancellation occurs within 30 days of scheduled event, hiring party will receive 50% refund of remaining contract balance, less non-refundable deposit. If cancellation is within 48 hours of scheduled event, no refund will be given.

-Cancellations with remaining contract balance due, less deposit amount: If a cancellation occurs within 30 days of scheduled event, hiring party will owe 50% of remaining contract balance, less non-refundable deposit. If cancelled within 48 hours of scheduled event, full balance is due.

-Cancellations on the part of Onyx & Ice Entertainment due to unforeseen circumstances causing the inability to provide service: Onyx & Ice Entertainment will provide a full refund of all money collected including deposits. However, Onyx & Ice will arrange for back up service when possible with a partial refund issued.

- Cancellations on the part of Onyx & Entertainment due to unforeseen circumstances within 14 days of scheduled event: You will receive a full refund of all collected, as well as an inconvenience fee assessed to customer of $300 to cover upcharge of finding new service. This will be paid direct to customer within 30 days of cancellation.
